Training for Tenants

Your tutorials gave us great insights into what is required from a practical and psychological point of view when running a residents and tenants community group. We are most grateful.

Challenging Sessions

I was pleased that you took the time to really find out what the residents wanted to get out of the training and to find out where they were at.  The residents said that the sessions were quite intense and challenging, but enabled them to unpack some of their frustrations and work out what they could do to move on from there.  What I have noticed in some of the people who took part is a greater confidence in their ability to influence, and a clearer plan of what they want to acheive and how they will get there.

Capacity Building

Within a programme  funded by DFID, Neil delivered capacity building and institutional development to the Ministry of Finance to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.  A significant component was focused on developing the emerging NGO movement, particularly in increasing the effectiveness on holding government agencies to account on behalf of the general public.  Neil developed concepts, articulated them to the NGO’s and Ministry Staff and took these concepts forward to implementation.
